Floridas web website got hacked but were back
Yes, what a hassle indeed.
My windows server has been hacked and FloridasWeb was a victim as well as most of my web pages hosted on that server. Our host Vortech is located up in the Orlando area and seems to have this trouble often....why on earth hackers want to infiltrate a blog is beyond me? well, not entirely...you see, what they did was add some code that hijacked all my outgoing links to Google Adsense (the ads that appear to the right and on top of pages) - they put their account in so they make money when they get clicked...yes, you would think that will make it easy to catch the buggers but apparently not.
It may have been a blessing in disguise as I wanted to install some better scripts that needed a newer version of PHP as well as .htaccess files to manipulate....I moved this blog to a unix server and have my fingers crossed. One of the scripts I installed is responsible for all the cool items we can list here for sale through eBay....click on any of the pages and/or sub-pages and you can see the items I am talking about.
I am also adding a new theme of sorts to our content - Disney.....
